About Me

My first small plane ride was in 1997 with Mike White in the Stearman.  I was hooked!

I love it when we just fly around the patch, check out the fall colors, etc. or to neighboring towns.I am the non-pilot in the cockpit but a great navigator.  (At least that's what Tom says)

Over the fourteen years being married to Tom, we have visited aviation museums from Washington to Maine.  A highlight was visiting Kitty Hawk in 2004.  Tom actually was allowed to assist Ken Hyde pushing the Wright Flyer replica into it's new position in the musuem.

I joined EAA Chapter 1218 in 2000.  I am currently chapter secretary and have held that office for several years.

About Me

I fly the 1950 Cessna 170 shown behind me in the photo. I finally received my private pilot's license in June, 1999.  I have been a member of EAA Chapter 1218 since 1998.  I am currently chapter president and have been for several years.

I have helped with restoration on a Porterfield, helped Bill Ghan on the Wright Flyer, helped build the Pietenpol, worked on the Pascoe Bi-plane and helped Clint Allen with his 3/4 Jenny.
